PROJECTS

As a non-profit organization, Thirst No More Corporation (TNMC) is committed to meeting the needs of the hurting, both overseas and right here at home. Take a look at past and present projects we have worked on...

Shoes4SchoolsGuatemala_2021

Thirst No More Corporation in support of Watchman On The Walls Ministries, Ltd will be financing the purchase of school shoes for our children in Chiquimula, Guatemala. We are asking you to consider a small monetary gift of any amount in order for these young people to have proper school footwear by the time they return to school after the Christmas break in 2021. Our target is $3,000 which at $20 per child, would cover 150 lives that will have proper footwear. You can contribute by going to the donate button on this site and giving by credit card or PayPal. We also have a special campaign this year featured on Facebook. Click on the photo below to make a contribution on Facebook. For those of you with corporate connections or church affiliations, please share....no gift is too small....PENNIES GROW INTO DOLLARS.

Reaching All People (RAP) Outreach

R.A.P. takes place in downtown Baltimore City every 4th Saturday of the month. At each R.A.P. event,

we give away hot food, clothing, and miscellaneous items to homeless and transitionally housed individuals.

Each year the number of people we serve continues to grow. In 2014, it was estimated that there are 7,856

homeless residents in Maryland. Nearly 35% of all of these residents in the State of Maryland are in Baltimore

City alone. On an average, we assist approximately 150 homeless and transitionally housed men, women and

children at each R.A.P event in Baltimore.

Operation Backpack

We have now partnered with Metropolitan United Methodist Church in Indian Head, MD to assist in

their Weekend Backpack Food Program. This effort was originally inspired by educators in Charles

County, MD who found many of their students suffering from childhood hunger. Often times, children qualify

for free or reduced lunch through the National School Lunch Program. However, numerous students find

themselves without proper nourishment over the weekend. This can have a negative effect on their overall

health and ability to focus in the classroom. Through Operation Backpack, we hope to provide these students

with food for the weekend. This effort can potentially improve their physical health and sustain their mental

focus during the week.

Trinitas Group LTD School and Recreational Facility Project

Trinitas Community Organization is a nonprofit faith group located in Kigali, Rwanda. They specialize in the

production of cinder block for various construction projects in and around Rwanda. We are partnering with

Trinitas to provide to create a community facility in the rural area outside the capital city of Kigali which would

include a school for primary and secondary education, a recreational center to support the surrounding community

and smart classrooms with the latest technology to address the educational needs of advanced level students.

Our goal is to enrich the lives of Rwandan youth and support their local community through this initiative.

Backpacks for Nepal Fundraiser

Thirst No More Corporation has recently partnered with our friends at the Himalayan Tribal Community Development Nepal (www.htcdn.org) to provide 200 backpacks to 200 children in regions located in southern Nepal.

TNMC will be collecting monetary gifts with a goal of sending $2,000 (USD) to Nepal to purchase the backpacks and transport them to each region for distribution to the children.

We need to collect a total of $2,000 by March 31, 2020 to reach the children of Nepal as they start a new school season in April 2020. To do this, we need your help in the following manner:
