In a powerful act of compassion and unity, Thirst No More Corporation has once again partnered with Upper Room Worship Center-Baltimore to bring life-changing medical care to those most in need—this time to our sister facility, Upper Room Worship Center-Pakistan, located in the heart of Jahanian, Punjab, Pakistan.
This marks our second medical clinic of 2025, and the impact has already been extraordinary. Through the generosity of supporters and the dedication of our partners, hundreds of residents in Jahanian received over-the-counter medications and professional medical support for conditions ranging from high blood pressure, allergies, and colds, to stomach ailments and viral infections. For many families, this was their first opportunity in months—or even years—to receive genuine medical attention and relief.
A Glimpse into Jahanian
Jahanian, is a modest agricultural city where most families rely on small farms and daily labor to survive. While the landscape is rich with color and tradition, many of its people live under the weight of economic hardship. Access to healthcare is limited, and medications that are commonplace in other parts of the world are often out of reach for those in this region.
Adding to these challenges is the reality of religious persecution that continues to impact Christian families in Jahanian and surrounding areas. Tensions between Muslims and Christians can often lead to discrimination, isolation, and fear—making acts of compassion and solidarity all the more vital.
It is in this setting that Thirst No More Corporation and Upper Room Worship Center-Baltimore have chosen to stand firm in faith and love, extending care without condition and hope without hesitation.
Joy, Healing, and Gratitude
The clinic’s impact could be seen not only in the number of people treated but in the smiles, tears, and prayers of gratitude that filled the air. Patients who had long endured untreated illnesses expressed overwhelming joy and relief. Mothers left with renewed peace knowing their children could finally receive medicine. Elders offered heartfelt thanks for the care shown to them by strangers from across the world.
The local ministry team at Upper Room Worship Center-Pakistan worked tirelessly alongside our medical volunteers, ensuring every patient was seen, comforted, and cared for. Together, this partnership has become a living testimony of what can happen when faith is put into action.

There is still much work to be done. Many communities like Jahanian continue to face health crises, poverty, and persecution. Yet, with every act of kindness and every life touched, we move one step closer to a world where compassion triumphs over hardship.
