RAP Outreach Winter Accessories Wishlist 🧦🧴🧤👲
Our RAP Outreach POC (Point of Contact) John Hejl has assembled a list of items we would be glad to provide for our community friends in Baltimore, Maryland. The temperatures are only going to become colder and we have many people who will not have those essential accessories to get them through the winter season.
We are in a challenging moment because we issued a call to action to our donor community weeks ago, with very little response. We want to assure you that just like a monetary gift to Thirst No More Corporation, your contribution through the Wishlist will also be recorded as revenue by us, meaning it is tax deductible as a charitable contribution. We do have a deadline of November 1st to receive all items so we can sort and create gift packages for our community friends. Update On Nepal
As we are concentrating our efforts closer to home, we cannot forget our global neighbors. We currently provide support to low income and impoverished communities in Rwanda, Guatemala, Kenya, Pakistan, Ghana, and our focus for this letter, Nepal.
I wanted to share an update on what is happening in Nepal, especially the area of Rasuwa, which is close to where the recent flooding disaster took place. We thank TNMC Coordinator to Nepal, Raju Bhitrakoti and his team on the ground, for serving this community and bringing hope to so many people who have lost everything.
